These feature an amazing 101 layers of Damascus with an abrasion-resistant, high speed powder steel core to an HRC: 61±0.5. The handle is black wood w/a red micarta ring handle. You will appreciate the incredible sharpness of the blade. It will outperform due to a sophisticated technique, backed by years of abundant experience and knowledge.
The classy octagonal handle, "八角柄 Hackaku-e", is polished to fascinating elegance. The handle end is engraved with the Kanetsune, Seki brand logo mark "Kumadori".
